Live.

As well as VJing at venues large and small from 1999 onwards, I have also produced visuals for large gigs; whilst at shroom I made visuals for U2 and the Rolling Stones, as well as Pink, Marco Borsato and The London Jazz Festival. Shroom also collaborated with Alexis Bamforth (experimenteur en coleur) at the Victoria and Albert (V&A) museum producing and performing live in the two 30 minute versions of a real time generated mixed media piece named 'Automatica'. In 2007 I also worked with Tom Fenicks at his studio in Belgium in collaboration with stage designer Bart Clement on their show with giant Flanders pop duo 'Clouseau'

Above is the 'Evolution Synthetika' flyer and to the right an image of us setting up the show in the Raphael room at the V&A.

The clip to the left was made for the random dance company for projection at a show in the South Bank centre. Max McMullin and I had footage of their rehearsals and animated the obects in 3d Studio to match and correspond to the dancers movements.

This is a piece made with LetsBPositive youth group in Tottenham in association with Serious Productions. Shroom worked with teenagers from the group over several sessions, they drew all the materials either as framestrips on paper that were scanned or during one session we covered the area in paper and filmed as they threw, dribbled and squirted paint around the place. Serious asked us to make the piece for Courtney Pine's opening piece for the 2005 London Jazz festival.

This clip is a short edit of the opening of Marco Borsato's 2006 sell out show 'Symphonica in Rosso' in the Gelredome in Arnhem Holland. Alex Hatjoullis and I were flown out there at the last minute to help them put visuals onto the 100m high guitar shaped LED screen and its 200m 'wings'. The lines move and vibrate in time to the opening piece 'Rosso' and featured on the front page of several of the country's papers and have since been used to open the show's annual rerun, this year featuring Lionel Richie.
