Working again with Sam Pattinson at onedotzero, shroom produced synced pieces for two tracks for her 2007 European tour. For 'Stupid Girls', we took the video promo for the piece apart and reassembled it inside the pages of fictional gossip magazines, using After FX to move around the scenes comic book style adding even more fun and dynamism to the video for her live show.
For her protest song, 'Dear Mr President' we sourced clips of news footage and other Iraq war / Katrina documentation as well as sneaking a couple of staged clips into a three screen edit directing feelings and making fun of the then President of the United States, George W. Bush.
Apparently, our work reduced her to tears on first viewing.
