Promo

As well as live production, I have been involved in music promo production, from helping Dave Mckean on his Buckethead promo and shooting and editing videos for up and coming acts such as UKlistick. Shroom provided Gas and Electric with two minutes of graphics for their 'Hazy Eyes' promo (shown to the left) for Universal music's rock act Fightstar. Working with Tom King and Mark Silva as well as the band and management I developed the concept of a spiral city shaped around a girls face. The interior space initially had the girl inhabiting the house, but was pulled at the request of the record company and replaced with the footage of the band. I was present on set to help Tom and Mark get the shots we needed to put the band into the spaces and developed the 3d model in Blender. The graphics work was done by the shroom team (Alex Hatjoullis, Ed Brown and Christos Hatjoullis as well as myself) over a four week period to deliver a stunning result at a relatively low budget.

This is a piece done as a sting for skate film maker, Guido Gazzi also known as 'I am Guido'

Shroom worked with Guido many times, editing and scoring, to produce 3 'Day in the City' pieces for Sidewalk Surfer magazine as well as his other films including 'here today, here tomorrow....'

This is an advert I put together with Dave Mckean and Max McMullin whilst at CDA for a ski resort in Colorado. The client was Goodby Silverstein in San Francisco, art directed by Claude Shade.

This is a sketch done in After Effects as a test for a Wookie tune done for Soul2Soul records.
