Terra 2050 is a four part series conceived, directed and produced by Shroom.

We took the concept to Channel 4 as we were at the time discussing a few ideas for their Alt TV slot. They liked the concept and asked us to develop a narrative, which we determined to be simple; There is the world, the Environment, then there are people, Humans, we make Technology and that gives rise to Hopes and Fears.

Visual ideas were generated througout the process by all members of the team and some contributors even gave us drawings and concept which we used in the film. The audio clips were then edited together into 'radio edits'; pieces of audio that could work alone. As these edits started to solidify, the real animation began; storyboards and animatics were quickly brought to life and the disparate ideas juxtaposed to create the world that is TERRA 2050
